BATCH IS A HOUSING PROJECT LED BY AUSTRALIAN ARCHITECTURE FIRM ZIG.

Zig’s expertise is finding old buildings and historic landmarks and converting them into modern housing developments. Balfour’s bakery in Adelaide, a historic bakery found in 1853, is now BATCH, a stylish and contemporary apartment building.

For this project I created a visual language and then applied it on a brochure that informs potential buyers of the project.

Trying to maintain a sense of timelessness while also showcasing a contemporary element, I chose to go with an intricate displace type for the logo and pair it with a sans serif for body copy. The layout is intentionally spacious with size and negative space determining the hierarchy and the flow of the pages.
